We not only create real estate, but also added value for society. Whether through our projects or our involvement in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Institute for Corporate Governance, we are actively committed to sustainable urban development.
The real estate industry has a direct impact on our living space. At Landmarken AG, we are aware of this and create social added value with our neighborhoods and projects. It is in our DNA as a family business to take responsibility. We do this through our projects, but also through commitments beyond our own company, for example in the Urban Land Institute (ULI). This global research and education organization in our industry is dedicated to the sustainable development and use of cities worldwide with the aim of continuously improving the quality of life in collaboration with the public sector.
"What was particularly important to me this year was coming together and getting to know each other better. Knowing who is behind the business card. Few times move us as much as these, and together we can achieve a lot."
Frederike Krinn / Branch Manager Rhine-Main, Landmarken AG
Frederike Krinn, head of our Rhine-Main branch, has been the new ULI Germany NEXT Chair since January. She chairs the networking platform for members between the ages of 35 and 45 who want to work together to promote the sustainable design of our cities.
Landmarken board member Jens Kreiterling, who has been a member of the ULI DACH Executive Committee (responsible for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) since 2022, has now been appointed as the new ULI Global Governing Trustee. The Global Governing Trustees serve as ULI's senior leadership group and are responsible for representing the broad and diverse membership worldwide on key issues.
"Our landmarks are proof that economic efficiency, sustainability, and social responsibility are key to successful, future-oriented project development."
Jens Kreiterling / Member of the Executive Board, Landmarken AG
As chair, Jens Kreiterling has been leading the ULI's Product Council "Urban Developments" for some time now, which works at the top expert level to improve cooperation between the real estate industry and local authorities, and contributed to the study "Working Together," which provides impetus for cooperation between local authorities and the real estate industry. He also strengthens the ULI's Local Council NRW.
We are also actively involved in the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry (ICG). Jens Kreiterling chairs the "Cities and Municipalities" round table, which examines how theoretical findings on social impact, among other things, can be incorporated into cooperation with cities and municipalities. Frederike Krinn ("Distressed Assets"), Nils Perpeet ("Education/Schools") and Christine Rumpf ("Housing") are also involved in round tables.
