Landmarken AG has won the multi-stage investor selection process for a property at Münster’s city harbor. The process was organized by Stadtwerke Münster, as the property owner, and the City of Münster.

Landmarken AG has handed over approximately 5,500 square meters of the “Arbeitswelten am Prager Ring” complex in Aachen to Ericsson. The global corporation is now undertaking the interior fit-out for its Ericsson Eurolab, which will relocate from Herzogenrath to Aachen next year. In total, the sustainable new office building—which is scheduled to be completed on time later this year—comprises just under 9,000 square meters of office and communication space.

The Landmarken Group has begun renting out the apartments in its Cradle to Cradle pilot project, Moringa Hamburg HafenCity. As of June, there were already over 1,300 inquiries for the 217 residential units. While applications for the subsidized section were closed even before the leasing process began, the first lease agreements for the high-rise “The Crown” were signed as soon as leasing began. Europe’s first residential high-rise built according to the principles of the circular economy will be fully completed at the beginning of next year.

Excavators have arrived at the Gremmendorf neighborhood center in Münster. Together with the municipal development company KonvOY and the general contractor Eggers, Landmarken AG has now broken ground on its “Neue Mitte York” project. On the 9,400-square-meter lot, approximately 14,500 square meters of space will be created for residential, retail, dining, and commercial use. As a result, the planned complex of buildings will fulfill important functions for the entire neighborhood.

Landmarken AG has acquired the site of the St. Elisabethen Hospital in Lörrach, including the existing buildings, for a large-scale neighborhood development. The seller of the property—which also includes a parking lot and the former child and adolescent psychiatry unit—is the Order of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Freiburg. On the property, which totals 21,450 square meters, residential space is to be created both in the existing buildings and in new structures. Plans also include a daycare center and other neighborhood-oriented amenities.

We’re almost ready to get started: We’re creating a new center for the York Quarter, which is currently under development—Münster’s largest urban development project. We have now received the building permit from the City of Münster.

Aachen’s Quartier Nord continues to evolve: With the arrival of the health insurance provider BIG direkt gesund in mid-2027, modern office and collaborative spaces will be created on the first floor—spanning approximately 2,000 square meters—of the former Trösser furniture store. Following the closure of the furniture store in August 2025, the building will be transformed into a vibrant hub for work and shopping—tenants have already been secured for the new retail spaces on the ground floor as well.

The Mannheim District Court will relocate to the Augusta 33 complex on Mannheim’s Augustaanlage for at least five years. To this end, the State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the State Agency for Property and Construction (Landesbetrieb Vermögen und Bau BW), has leased approximately 5,750 square meters on the ground floor and on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th floors of this Landmarken building.

With “EPIX Spaces,” the Landmarken Group is developing a new real estate product that views sports, leisure, health, and community as integral components of modern urban development. Specific locations in Frankfurt, Berlin, and the Ruhrgebiet have already been identified for development as “EPIX Spaces.”

Landmarken AG has sold the new data center for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia’s financial administration (RZF). The buyer is the State of North Rhine-Westphalia itself, which is thereby securing important infrastructure. Originally, the state had signed a 20-year lease agreement with an option to extend. The new building, with approximately 37,000 square meters of floor space plus a parking garage, is nearly complete after only about two and a half years of construction. In May, the complex—consisting of three buildings—will be handed over to the user.

The mayor arrived in a fire truck: Just eight months after the cornerstone was laid in April, the “Arbeitswelten am Prager Ring” in Aachen celebrated its topping-out ceremony. The sustainable new office building by Landmarken AG comprises just under 9,000 square meters of office and communication space. The main tenant is the global corporation Ericsson, which is relocating its Eurolab to Aachen. Landmarken is in talks with other prospective tenants. Construction is proceeding according to plan, so completion is expected on schedule at the end of 2026.

Landmarken AG has submitted a building permit application for its “Neue Mitte York” project in the Gremmendorf neighborhood center in Münster. The project developer plans to build a Mixed-Use-Ensemble here that will include retail, residential, and commercial spaces.

As a showcase project for a successful redevelopment of an existing building, the Neue Gesundheitshaus Dortmund is also setting an example internationally. The Landmarken project was nominated by an international jury for the “ULI Europe Award for Excellence.” Projects from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa were in the running. As the Urban Land Institute (ULI) announced in October, the Neue Gesundheitshaus is the only German nominee on the shortlist.

Two renowned German real estate companies have joined forces to offer service development throughout Germany as an alliance of leading project developers. To this end, Landmarken and ehret+klein have jointly founded German Development Partner GmbH (GDP). The company is headquartered in Frankfurt. The new company aims to offer both property owners and international investors a “one-stop service” for all of Germany.
