Landmarken wins PLATOW Real Estate Award
For the tenth time, PLATOW Brief has presented the PLATOW Real Estate Award. In addition to the categories "Residential," "Investments," "Commercial Real Estate," and "Special Prize," this year also featured an award for "Sustainability."
The distinguished jury selected Landmarken AG as the winner in this category. At the award ceremony on May 18 in Frankfurt, our CEO Jens Kreiterling and our sustainability manager Jasmin Werker accepted the prize, a copper time capsule, from PLATOW managing director Albrecht F. Schirmacher.
According to the jury's statement, Landmarken was honored for its pursuit of ecological sustainability in the construction and operation of real estate and neighborhoods, as well as for its strong commitment to high-quality, publicly subsidized housing construction. One example is the "Guter Freund" residential neighborhood in Aachen with its family-friendly and intergenerational design. We are delighted to receive this honor, for which one cannot apply, but is selected by an independent jury.
