First landmark in Rhein-Main
Landmarken AG has acquired the approximately 5,600 square meter Zollhafen Rheinwiesen site in Mainz, directly on the Rhine. It is a great location for our first landmark in the Rhein-Main area. In the Zollhafen, an area with a charisma that extends far beyond the city limits of Mainz, an urban, vibrant residential and working district of the future is being created.
The decisive factor in our commitment to this location, which preserves the historic harbor atmosphere and creates new recreational opportunities on the Rhine, was above all the sustainability requirements of the district development. Here, we can and want to integrate our high Landmarken standards in the areas of sustainability and digitalization.
Around 19,000 m² of gross floor area can be created on the Landmarken site for a commercial development, offering an exclusive opportunity in a sought-after waterfront location. There is great potential here for attractive office environments, and commercial residential use is also conceivable. In addition, restaurants and cafes should contribute to revitalization and enhancement, creating an effect that will also benefit neighboring districts.
