In the south of the World Heritage city of Trier, between the Moselle and Mattheiser Forest, an attractive residential area is being built on a former barracks site.
Together with the architecture firm arus from Saarland, Landmarken AG has laid the groundwork for the development of approximately 7,300 m² of residential space as part of this project.
After receiving the building permit for the three construction sites with a total area of around 6,010 m², the project was sold to a regional developer. A high-quality building complex will be constructed directly on the so-called green corridor. This green corridor is the connecting green element between the hillside terraces and invites residents to take a stroll through the neighborhood.
In a scenic hillside location, the base floors of the three buildings with underground parking will be built into the slope, above which they will be visible as point buildings with a total of approximately 75 apartments. The planned living spaces range from 35 m² to – due to the high demand for large apartments – up to 120 m². This means that the project appeals to single people and couples as well as families. All apartments are barrier-free and have large windows and balconies with a beautiful view over the Moselle valley and the vineyards.
As these are the last building plots in this newly created neighborhood, local amenities and a daycare center are already in place and within walking distance. The city center of Germany's oldest city is practically on your doorstep, as are a variety of nature-based leisure activities.
