High quality and affordable

Affordable, high-quality housing and added value for the entire district: "Leben am Sonnenpark" creates an attractive link between the lively Kölner Straße and Sonnenpark, the green heart of Düsseldorf-Oberbilk.

In addition to apartments for families, there will also be apartments for students and trainees, as well as seven studio apartments for artists. These are designed in such a way that a gallery can be integrated within the units. A mobility concept to reduce car traffic and optimally connect urban amenities is also part of the plan. The entire neighborhood will benefit from this and from the commercial units for local shopping and restaurants.

Architecturally, the project blends invigoratingly into the urban structures of the surrounding area. This was ensured by a quality assurance process involving a competition, from which the firm ksg kister scheithauer gross architekten emerged as the winner. In their design, the park's avenue is continued in the new Heerstraße and supplemented by green atriums and light wells. The green residential courtyards break up the perimeter block development, create a visual connection to the park, and increase the quality of living: Many apartments—more than 50 percent of the living space will be publicly subsidized—have a beautiful view of the greenery.

    • "Living at Sonnenpark": Construction begins on Düsseldorf landmark project

Landmarken AG will build 209 residential units, retail and co-working space, and an underground parking garage in Düsseldorf. Following receipt of the building permit, the construction site for the "Leben am Sonnenpark" project has now been set up, meaning that construction work on Kölner Strasse can begin shortly. Half of the residential space, which will cover a gross floor area of over 14,000 square meters, will be publicly subsidized. Completion is scheduled for early 2027.

    • POHA House comes to Düsseldorf

Living and working together in sustainable co-spaces – that's what the first POHA House in Düsseldorf offers. The POHA House on Kölner Straße in Oberbilk is expected to open at the end of 2026 with 175 residential units covering an area of almost 5,000 square meters, offering space for up to 215 people. In addition, there is the POHA Office, a co-working space covering around 300 square meters for residents, but also for guests, who can rent one of the 36 workspaces. It will be the fifth POHA House run by the start-up of the same name, which operates three other houses in Aachen in addition to its first location in Münster.

    • Purchase agreement with Continental: Landmarken develops former plant site in Aaachen

C-WERK GmbH, a sister company of Landmarken AG, Stadtmarken GmbH and ecoPARKS GmbH, has purchased the site of the former Continental tire plant in Aachen. Companies from the manufacturing industry can be established on the site in the short term. In the long term, the developers plan to develop the C-WERK, as it will be called in the future, into an open and sustainable quarter for urban production and commerce. The development of the former Opel plant site in Bochum serves as a model.

    • For a sustainable future: Landmarken family invests in Concular

We are investing in a sustainable future. To this end, the Landmarken family is investing in the start-up Concular, which has set itself the task of transforming the real estate and construction industry towards a circular, sustainable economy. Together with other partners, the Landmarken family has participated in Concular's current financing round, in which the start-up was able to raise a total of 2.5 million euros.
