The flagship project: Moringa Hamburg
Groundbreaking and spectacular: In Hamburg's HafenCity, Landmarken is constructing Germany's first residential high-rise building based entirely on the Cradle-to-Cradle® principle.
The Moringa is being built in a particularly sustainable manner using recyclable, pollutant-free materials and offers as much green space as the built-up area covers in square meters. Around 80 percent of the construction and furnishing materials can be dismantled, sorted by type, and reused. In a unique way, the healthiest building in the city combines sustainable construction and affordable living in a prime location: with a gross floor area of around 24,000 m², the Moringa offers 212 rental apartments, more than a third of which are publicly subsidized, as well as communal areas, a co-living concept, co-working, a daycare center, and a restaurant. In a fantastic location, the project creates affordable living space for families, couples, young people, and seniors of all income levels. All apartments are certified allergy-friendly. This makes the project a trendsetter for the entire industry.
Landmarken AG has secured the experienced Lupp Group as the contractor for its pilot project. The technical implementation is being carried out by the Landmarken AG team. Following completion of the shell, interior work is already underway. The entire complex is scheduled for completion in 2026.
