The building complex on the central Robert-Brauner-Platz presents itself with a multifunctional usage concept that preserves the historic building while overcoming the 1960s department store character. The result is a contemporary building with a high quality of stay, which creates a friendly atmosphere thanks to its large glass fronts and open atrium.
After years of standing empty, fully let offices, a fitness studio, shops, and restaurants with outdoor terraces are now revitalizing the heart of Herne. For this, the Neuen Höfe was awarded the polis Award in silver (category: Reactivated Centers) in 2021, as well as the silver FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Germany (category: Commercial).
