From a needle factory to an urban neighborhood

Until recently, needles were still being manufactured in Würselen, but soon something completely new will be created on the Singer site. Landmarken is planning a mixed-use, livable neighborhood covering an area of around 24,000 m² in the heart of the city.

The property between Bahnhofstrasse, Kaiserstrasse, and Kreuzstrasse offers great potential for the neighborhood and the entire city. Among other things, affordable housing for every generation and attractive additional amenities will be created here.

        The property, which consists of three buildings with around 28,800 square meters of rental space, including a listed old building, was sold by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, which will remain as a tenant in the complex until April 2025. As part of its strategy of sustainable portfolio development, Landmarken will renovate the property to improve its energy efficiency.
