Historic monument revitalized for the future
Built in the mid-19th century, this city palace with its late-classical brick façade and bluestone window surrounds has become a prestigious office location in the heart of Aachen.
Built by a wealthy brickworks owner, it was home to a justice of the peace, a royal Prussian public prosecutor, a cloth manufacturer, and a royal Italian consul, among others. Later, the building served as the Belgian consulate and Belgian bank.
Spacious rooms, high ceilings, high-quality floors, and many historical details: the listed building impresses with its fine materials and impressive design language, which create a unique working atmosphere.
After careful renovation, we were able to find a tenant in RWTH Aachen University that showcases the beauty of the building.
