Living in a community is also the goal of this WE PARTMENT with 82 apartments on Elisabethstraße. RWTH Aachen University will also operate a boarding house on one or two floors to enable shorter stays for users.

Comprehensive WiFi coverage, a spacious lounge on the ground floor, and an inner courtyard for communal urban gardening will make it easy for students at the RWTH International Academy, which will rent the WE PARTMENT, to settle into Aachen and get to know each other.

The 1960s office building that previously stood on this site has already been completely demolished. Construction of the new building is scheduled to begin in early 2018. "WE PARTMENT – Leben am Elisengarten" is the third project in the major urban redevelopment of Aachen's Theaterplatz, alongside Motel One and Bankhaus am Theater, with a total investment volume of €55 million.

        The property, which consists of three buildings with around 28,800 square meters of rental space, including a listed old building, was sold by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, which will remain as a tenant in the complex until April 2025. As part of its strategy of sustainable portfolio development, Landmarken will renovate the property to improve its energy efficiency.
