Moringa Hamburg HafenCity: The flagship building for people and the environment celebrates its topping-out ceremony

An impressive topping-out ceremony for a groundbreaking project: The structural work on Germany’s first residential high-rise built according to the Cradle to Cradle principle is nearly complete. In keeping with the occasion, a topping-out ceremony was held on Monday for the “Moringa Hamburg HafenCity.” With its unique combination of resource-efficient construction and affordable housing, this Landmarken project is considered a trailblazer for the entire construction and real estate industry. In addition to approximately 220 rental units, the complex will offer communal areas, a daycare center, and a dining area upon its completion in 2026.

700 trees for climate protection

A day full of hope in Rhine-Main: Together with the Waldfreunde e.V. association, two school classes, and 25 business partners, our Rhine-Main team planted an impressive 700 seedlings. In the Dietzenbach Forest, southeast of Frankfurt, a large group of downy oaks will now grow as a contribution to climate protection. This low-stemmed native species is robust and can also thrive on nutrient-poor soils.

The So!Apart Awards are one of the most important awards in the co-living and serviced apartment industry in German-speaking countries. At the awards ceremony in Leipzig, founder and CMO Lea Mishra, Lisa Malek (Senior Strategy & Expansion Manager), and Jennifer Langrehr, Director of Operations at POHA House, accepted the award in the " : Sustainable and Special" category.

Foundation laid for groundbreaking cradle-to-cradle project

Germany's first residential high-rise building to be constructed according to the cradle-to-cradle principle is being built in Hamburg. The foundation stone for "Moringa Hamburg HafenCity" was laid on Wednesday. With its unique combination of resource-saving construction and affordable living, the building is considered a trendsetter for the construction and real estate industry. In addition to around 220 rental units, the ensemble from the Landmarken family of companies offers communal areas, a co-living concept, co-working, a daycare center, and restaurant and retail space.

Sustainable communal area in the former swimming pool

POHA House Preuswald in Aachen has been expanded with an important addition and is now complete: With the opening of the nearly 500-square-meter community space on the ground floor—the most sustainable in the company's history—the Cospace concept can now be fully implemented at POHA House's fourth location. Founded in 2019, the real estate start-up creates cospaces that combine high-quality furnished apartments, flexible workspaces, and attractive community spaces under one roof—mostly in central downtown locations.

Brownfield Award: Silver for ecoPARK Jena

The ecoPARK Jena proves that logistics and production buildings for industrial companies can also be ecological pioneers. The new building, which is subsidized under KFW 40 EE and in which Kuroda Jena Tec manufactures linear and rotary drive products, impresses with its sustainability in terms of construction and operation. This has now also been recognized by the jury of the Brownfield24 Awards, which awarded our project the silver prize in the category Brownfields under 10,000 m².

For a sustainable future: Landmarken family invests in Concular

We are investing in a sustainable future. To this end, the Landmarken family is investing in the start-up Concular, which has set itself the task of transforming the real estate and construction industry towards a circular, sustainable economy.
