Landmarken AG has acquired a plot of land on Albersloher Weg in the York Quarter in Münster. The seller of the approximately 9,400 square meter site is the municipal development company KonvOY in Münster. Landmarken is developing a mixed-use ensemble here with retail, residential, and commercial space. Completion is planned for late 2027 to mid-2028.

C-WERK GmbH, a sister company of Landmarken AG, Stadtmarken GmbH and ecoPARKS GmbH, has purchased the site of the former Continental tire plant in Aachen. Companies from the manufacturing industry can be established on the site in the short term. In the long term, the developers plan to develop the C-WERK, as it will be called in the future, into an open and sustainable quarter for urban production and commerce. The development of the former Opel plant site in Bochum serves as a model.

Landmarken AG has acquired the well-known office complex at Augustaanlage 33 in Mannheim. The property, which consists of three buildings, including a listed old building from 1905, was sold by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), which will initially remain a tenant in the complex. As part of its strategy of sustainable portfolio development, Landmarken will renovate the property to improve its energy efficiency. The property will be operated by Landmarken's sister company Stadtmarken Business, which will implement a user-oriented management concept.

Landmarken AG is set to develop its first residential construction project in the Ruhr region. To this end, it has acquired an approximately 8,460 square meter plot of land on Hüttenstraße from the Bochum Economic Development Agency. Around 200 apartments can be built on the former site of a printing plant.

Landmarken AG has acquired a commercial property measuring around 12,000 square meters in a central location in Düsseldorf and will develop an office campus with additional uses there. The potential floor space is around 30,000 square meters GFA.

Construction has begun: Germany's first green residential high-rise building in a hybrid timber construction, built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle, is being realized in a prominent waterfront location in the Elbbrückenquartier district. Just one month after the purchase of the land, the first excavators rolled in in August for the groundbreaking Moringa Hamburg HafenCity project. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2025.

The first landmark in the Rhine-Main region—and the location could hardly be more attractive.

Landmarken AG is building the new data center (RZF) for the North Rhine-Westphalia tax authorities. This is the result of an investor selection process conducted by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Landmarken won the Europe-wide tender with a plot of land in Düsseldorf's neighboring town of Kaarst and a winning design by agn Architekten, Ingenieure, Generalplaner. The 20-year lease agreement with two extension options has already been signed.

Düsseldorf, January 7, 2020. Following Landmarken AG's success in the municipal tender for a coveted corner plot on the border with Oberkassel, the city of Düsseldorf has now sold the property.
